Quarterly Focus 02 / 2026
We are seeking urban planners, property stakeholder managers and communications managers (m/f/d) to provide independent support for project implementation.
You already possess in-depth specialist knowledge and understand the changes taking place in cities, not only to preserve them but also to shape them in such a way that people can embrace them as a second home.
Based in Frankfurt am Main, we already manage projects across Germany. Drawing on our knowledge of specific location and project orientations, over the last 15 years we have developed our UrbanMITTE© framework (a platform for urban transformation) and the UrbanChannel /® framework (reorientation of retail and hospitality with the integration of culture and leisure).
We want to work with you to take cities to the next, future-oriented level; to this end, we are in dialogue with professional associations and local authorities and wish to deepen these relationships.
In the locations/properties sector, we bring together property owners, investors, users and local authorities. Our approach is to identify future developments, including economic ones, over the long term, to highlight these for our clients and to support them throughout their processes.

Review of 2025 / Outlook for 2026
As we look back on the year drawing to a close, we would like to thank everyone who has given us their time, their input and their thoughts – and, in doing so, offered constructive feedback on our collaboration. This allows us to look forward to the coming year with optimism.
We have not achieved everything we set out to do. However, we know all too well that true future value requires sound planning and preparation for implementation. Every step we have been able to take towards this goal with our partners is our present.
Our tomorrow, 2026, is, to put it simply, in the starting blocks, and we look forward to working with you, within this community of values, to tackle your and our goals together, in order to generate the best possible outcomes.
To all those we have had the privilege of meeting, we wish you more time to pause and reflect in the new year, moments of true value, and ease in bringing your projects to fruition.
Within the structural depth of your business and your local authority, you face a wide range of challenges. Our approach, combining knowledge transfer with a holistic, structuring development process, enables you to establish a sustainable future orientation.
In 2026, our team will focus on the following:
1. Conceptual underpinning of solution approaches with a focus on objectives
2. Planning of urban development solutions, relating to structural development, based on the ERS Framework UrbanMITTE© (sub-area Raum-in-Raum© / sub-area Raum-zu-Raum©).
3. Structural reorientation from retail to local government, based on the ERS Framework UrbanChannel /® (sub-area Raum-im-Raum© / sub-area CityChannelApp®)
The essence of our work is comprehensive urban development aimed at the city as a communal space, ranging from retail and hospitality spaces, culture and leisure, to the local authority, which is undergoing a fundamental reorientation.
For this reason, the sectors of concept, planning and future orientation are given greater priority within the defined focus areas, so that, on this basis, we can identify flagship projects for you and, together with you, take focused implementation steps, integrated into an overall solution, leading to success.
A point worth noting: a patchwork approach or isolated, uncoordinated solutions do not create a future; instead, they lead to a regressive process, as a comprehensive, forward-looking solution becomes impossible – there are plenty of examples of this.
Our bespoke solutions are backed by 15 years of experience and expertise. We have combined current trends with long-term developments to achieve the best possible outcome for you.

Future Focus, Part 7: City Reorientation – Digital Access
The aim is to make our urban cultures fit for the future, with people at the heart of it all. We already have a wide range of digital access points. Why another app?
Digital retail marketplaces, as well as various search engines and information structures, are a dime a dozen. We do not question these structures and we also make use of digitalisation. The key difference compared to existing app providers is that CityChannelApp® not only provides personalised, targeted access to urban structures, but we also bring people into the city centre in person, thereby strengthening the city centre. This makes the city and region fit for the future, including the integration of local authority structures – a key aspect is countering the decline of high streets and the dwindling of quality meeting places, spaces to linger and social structures.
Together with our partner SYNGENIO AG, we offer a solution to this challenge and, through CityChannelApp®, create added value and future-proof the city centre, including integration with SmartCity.
The many individual digital offerings, e.g. the Otto Group and Amazon (more and more local authorities are deciding to stop ordering from Amazon), take a different approach and do not bring people into the city as a cultural space. Search engines do not support the city’s structure; rather, they support search terms, and Google Maps and DB Navigator do not enable the achievement of a desired overall result, but serve specific, limited needs. They do not represent the essence of UrbanMITTE©, nor do they aim to comprehensively reach citizens, visitors and tourists and invite them into the city centre; they do not unlock the city as a communal space. UrbanChannel / CityChannelApp® serves as the supporting structure for the city as a space of value; with its app, which encompasses all urban structures, it reflects the city as a whole – as a one-stop destination.
It is about linking the physical and digital spheres; the customer should experience the city and its local offerings in a ‘phygital’ way. This also represents a step towards realising the much-vaunted digital sovereignty of the respective city.
In doing so, we place people at the centre.

Future Invest, episode 6: Human at the centre
This will change with UrbanChannel /......®!
In retail today, we talk about the omni-channel structure. UrbanChannel /® is the structural basis for the stationary retail part. However, the link to the digital component was missing until now. We presented this digital component to Ms Tögel, DIHK, Head of Department for Urban Development and Space Policy, in our recent basic discussion at the initiative of Dr Theiss, Managing Director of IHK Frankfurt. She confirmed that this building block for comprehensive digital visualisation of bricks-and-mortar retail is essential in order to meet current and future challenges, and that after many years of preparation, the steps towards implementation are now being taken.
ERS process levels in the Future Alignment sector are a prerequisite

Future Invest, episode 5: SMEs - focus on the city
If we want to lead the retail/hospitality sector of small and medium-sized enterprises into the future, and thus also product manufacturing in the EU, the future must be reorganised. The basis for this are locations and product areas with a structured overall orientation in which the customer/consumer feels invited and addressed in a personalised manner.
Our interaction structure
Transformation of the city centre, based on our ERS framework UrbanMITTE©, in the activation of spatial structure + process development. Realignment of the retail and hospitality sectors with the integration of cultural and leisure offerings, which we have incorporated into the ERS framework UrbanChannel /®, in the activation of places to experience and linger + process development. What does this mean for property owners and project developers? A new approach with the UrbanChannel /® Raum-in-Raum structure, in which the integration of the upper floors is also made possible by a complementary tenant structure, providing future security for the entire property.

Future invest, Episode 4: 2025 - perspective of your destination from 2035
Our future research on UrbanMITTE©, with the focus studies on retail, hospitality sectors, culture, leisure and multifunctional facilities in their own position, gives you the opportunity to look back from the year 2035 and identify today as the starting point. In order to structure the path to the goal with a customised analysis, renewal and updating. With the ‘the goal is the path’ approach, the definition of the goal from 2035 to 2025 creates future security for you in line with your processes.

Future Invest, Episode 3: Fundamental approaches to stationary trade
There is no more time for leisurely city centre development - we have to act TODAY!
Stationary trade is about to collapse irretrievably - time is running out. The city centre is missing its people - conversely, people are missing the city centre. But the priorities are different than they used to be. At this point, we have to put ourselves in the shoes of the potential customer - with the question:
What attracts me to the city centre?
- does it correspond to my today's lifestyle?
- am I encouraged to experience the city as a whole from home?
- are city centre spaces designed attractively enough to satisfy my value expectations (the city as a living room - the second place to be)? (...)
